Videolan media player mostly known as VLC, which is used to stand for "Vediolan Client". it is a simple, verified part, movable and suitable media player. VLC is provided for any type of desktop systems, android phones and also for ios, tizen, window 10 mobile. the partial distribution of vlc includes a large number of free decoding and encoding libraries, avoiding the need for finding calibrating proprietary plugins, the libavcodec library from the EEMPEG project provides many of vil's codecs, but the player mainly 17 uses its oun muxers and demuxers. vlc has its own protocol implementations. it also gained distinction as the first player to support playback of encrypted dvd's on linux and macos by using the libdvdess dvd decryption library.
Background
VLC project started by a student project at french ecole centrale paris, in 1996. in 2007 the vlc project has been decided for license compatibility reasons, to not upgrade to the just released Gpl version 3. after 13 years of development version 1.o.o of vlc was released on july 7 in 2009. this work began on VLC for android in 2010 and it is available for android devices on the google play store since 2011. after vlc developer remi denis-courmont's complain to apple about the licensing conflict between gplv2 of vlc and the app store policies in january 2011. vlc had been withdrawn with the apple app store by apple subsequently, the vlc authors began to relicense in october 2011 the engine part of parts of vlc from the gplv2 to the lgplv2 to acheive better license compatibility for instance with the apple app store. the vlc application could then resubmitted to the ios app store in july 2013 under the mozilla public license version 2.0.0 of vlc media player was released on march 13 in 2014. it can support window prt and windows phone. the new version of vlc of 3.0.0 developed for windows,linux and macus since june 2016 and released in february 2018. it contain many new features including chromecast output support except subtitles, hardware-accelerated decoding,4k and 8k playback ,10-bit and hdr playback,360 vedio and 3d audios.

VLC is not a common media player, it have alots of tools like playback, audio,vedio and view tab many more of player options. we can play with synchronization setting including a graphic equalizer with multiple pre-sets, over lays special effects, atmolight vedio effects, audio spatializer and costomizable range compression settings and as well as we can add substitles adding the srt file to the vedio folder,vlc can installed or run directly from a usb flash drive or other external drive. it can be extended through scripting, it uses the lva scripting language. it can play vedios in the AVCHD formate, a highly compressed formate used in recent hd camcorders. it can generate a number of music visualization displays.
Conclusion
VLC media player is complex more versatile, stable and good-quality free media player provided. it has truely dominated the free media player market for over 10 years now and look likes it may be for another 10 years thanks to the constant development and improvement by vediolan organization.
